Hi friends! We are Jonny and Bryar
Strutt. We live in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada where we pastor an amazing church. We have 3 beautiful children that are an incredible blessing to us. Jacob, Jesse and
Sparrow.
Our greatest passion is God and we love to express that through music.
We have had the privilege of serving and ministering across our nation at different events and churches as worship leaders. Whether it was a conference, retreat, camp, small group, church services…We have been so honoured to have incredible moments with those of you whom our lives have intersected at different places and times in our lives. One of the great things about Pastoring is that we get to be a part of so many life journeys. We have been able to encourage, teach, counsel, pray, believe and worship with you and you with us. In all those moments, the good and bad, you have been a part of shaping the story that God is creating with our lives. We are so thankful for that. We have been involved in church albums in the past, but we felt the time came to share some of our own songs through a personal album. Our intentions are that the content and spirit of this music would first of all glorify God. We also want to inspire YOU to worship deeply in the greatest times of your life and even louder in the difficult and dark times... So that in every season, you would find Christ in the centre with you.
In our lives God has used music in incredible ways, bringing healing, revelation, dreams and passion. We’ve found that God works through song to give us perspective in excruciating circumstances, express the greatest hopes and joys, inspire us to live bigger by lifting our eyes up to His greatness.
In the summer of 2014, we partnered with some amazing producers, Gabriel Wilson and Daniel MacKenzie. Some of their most recent work is Bethel Music’s Tides, Without Words and You Make Me Brave albums. They put together an incredible team including Michael Pope (guitars), Jacob Arnold (drums) and Craig Alvin (engineer, mixer), and Aaron Knott (technician). Together they have helped us make a great, honest, quality record. Each of them are so talented and we are honoured to have worked with them on this album.
